We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Integration Engineer
to work with our Korea clients from our Seoul location.
Primary Responsibilities:
-To help implement AlgoOne solutions within customer environments by performing activities such as hardware sizing, AlgoOne software installation and configuration, writing custom scripts/code, data interfacing, batch design, system integration test, and production preparation.
-Develop, design and implement new solutions that interface with the Risk Analytics solutions or product range.
-To help troubleshoot errors, performance issues, and license problems encountered by customers during implementation.
-Provide consultancy to clients based on solid understanding of the Risk product suite and implementation requirements.
-Deliver training via formal training courses and workshop sessions to clients
Required Qualifications:
-Degree (preferably numerate/technical) or equivalent
-Ability to address and use initiative to deliver solutions to technical and business problems
-Ability and desire to adapt, learn and explore new technologies
-High degree of initiative and learning to work with complex software products with minimal supervision
-Capacity to estimate, manage own work and keep within plan
-Familiarity with database essentials (SQL, installation, sizing, performance) Experienced DBA skills not essential, but familiarity with using one current RDBMS is preferred.
-Good hands on use of Linux
-Knowledge of shell scripting or programming languages such as Perl/Python/VBScript/Java/JavaScript/C++/C
-Read and write English
-Team spirit to work in a small yet multi-function team to achieve project success
Desirable skills:
-3~5 years of working experience
-Oral communication in English
-Presentation and communication skills
-Understanding of the financial market place (market data, fixed Income products, derivatives) in terms of the underlying data
-Exposure to or familiarity with risk management (market risk/credit risk/ALM)
-Exposure to or familiarity with financial analytics and market data
-Experience within small company, client facing culture
-Reporting systems design and development – particularly using OLAP tools
-Experience with middleware solutions
-Familiarity with web based delivery, Java components
